Shoot with Daniel O’Brien and Erica Rose

Photographer: Daniel O’Brien
Model: Erica Rose
Make-up/hair: Molotov Pigtails hairstyling and make-up (me!)

These are just a few of the phenomenal shots taken with Daniel O’Brien and the gorgeous Erica Rose. She absolutely smoulders in real life and it was actually really intimidating working on somebody who oozes sex appeal like that. Or maybe that was a little thing called envy. Either way, the shots turned out great.

I did this shoot back in December last year (2012) in Harmonique Photography’s studio in Newport.
Our model, Sandra, had flown in from Macao and we were blown away by her beauty and had a really great day working together as a team.
The theme was initially bridal, but it turned into editorial bliss as we realised we could create much more powerful looks than we initially expected.

Group shoot in Dandenong

Earlier this year I undertook an incredible group fashion shoot with five photographers, six models and two other make-up artists in gregd studios in Dandenong to create some art. Here are some of the things that we came out with.

Mua/hair: me (Kate molotov)

So these shots are part of a series taken by the amazing Mad Dame on her studio’s open day late last year.

The model, Kitessa, was absolutely a joy to work with: professional, punctual, great fun to be around (which I think translated in the shots very nicely) and very naturally beautiful.

These shots were a lot of fun and there was definitely something liberating about messing up a face full of makeup considering how delicate a process it usually is!
